Before you know it, you’ll be busy as a bee reviewing these products and sharing your thoughts with the world.

But, you probably have some questions about how the process works. We got you! Read on as we explain everything you need to know about being a BzzAgent.

Below we’ll dive into the ins and outs of being a BzzAgent, but first, let’s answer your most pressing questions.

These are the top FAQs our new BzzAgents have.

1. How will I know when there’s a new BzzCampaign?

It’s simple — we’ll email you.

Whenever there is a campaign that matches your interests and profile data, you’ll receive an email from us inviting you to apply. Click on the application button in the email. If you get accepted to the campaign, we’ll send you another email letting you know the happy news!

These emails may come from either one of the emails below, so be sure to add both of them to your contacts. Check your spam folder in case we end up in there.

2. How long do I have to apply to a new campaign?

Each campaign has a limited number of spots, and we send out application invites in waves until all the spots are full.

But, we’ll let you in on a secret: the sooner you apply, the better. Some campaigns fill up in just a few hours! So, as soon as you get that email, click the link to apply.

And don’t worry if you miss a campaign now and then. We’re always launching new campaigns, and we’ll email you the next one that’s a good fit for you!

3. How often will I receive new campaigns?

It depends. You may have multiple campaigns in one month, or go a few months without a campaign.

It simply comes down to the interests you selected and the types of shoppers a brand is looking for. Some campaigns may only be available to particular areas of the country, and others fill up quickly.

Patience is key, so hang in there. We are actively adding new campaigns and looking for qualified BzzAgents to match them with.

4. How can I qualify for more BzzCampaigns?

The best way to get selected for more campaigns is to fill out your profile data completely and make sure it is up to date. Many brands are looking for specific types of product testers, and the more information you provide us with, the better we can match you to a relevant campaign!

Log into your profile to review the questions you’ve answered. Click Edit if you’d like to update any of your answers or interests.

5. Who is PowerReviews?

PowerReviews is our parent company. That’s why you’ll see us referred to by our full name, BzzAgent by PowerReviews. You may also get campaign emails from PowerReviews. Be sure to add hello@sampling.powerreviews.com to your emails so you never miss a campaign!

How to Be a BzzAgent in 7 Easy Steps

How does being a BzzAgent work, exactly? Once you sign up, do free samples just show up at your door? Not quite, but almost!

Let’s break down what you can expect as a BzzAgent. Here’s how the process works.

Step #1: Sign Up to Be a BzzAgent

If you’re reading this, chances are you’ve already done this step. Nice job!

But just in case you haven’t signed up, it’s super easy. Click here to sign up. Fill us in on a few demographic details. Then, tell us the types of products you’re interested in. Whether you’re a gourmet chef or a proud pet parent, we want to know!

Step #2: Watch Your Inbox for Campaign Invites

When your interests and profile data match up with a campaign, we send you an email with a link to apply. Click fast as spots are limited!

Step #3: Apply to a BzzCampaign

The application form has just a few more questions, which enables us to make sure we match up the right BzzAgents for each campaign. Answer the survey questions completely.

Step #4: Check Your Email for Confirmation

It takes us some time to sort through all the applications. But once you are selected for a campaign, you’ll receive an email confirmation from us. Hurray!

If you don’t hear back, that means you weren’t a good fit for that particular campaign — but don’t worry, another one will come along soon!

Step #5: Wait for Your Sample to Arrive

Within 1 to 3 weeks of being selected for a campaign, you’ll receive an email telling you that your free product sample is on its way. Woohoo!

Step #6: Test the Product

When your sample arrives, do a happy dance! We’re just kidding; that part is totally optional. Now it’s time to use your product sample and get ready to share your experience.

Step #7: Review the Product

Now that you’ve spent some time with the product, it’s time to share your thoughts with the world and spread the bzz — to your friends, family, and followers. We’ll send you an email with Posting Instructions to submit your product review.

Remember: We want your honest opinion, whether you think it’s the bee’s knees…or even if you don’t.
